The Norwegian Nobel Committee will announce shortly the 2013 recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize.

16-year-old Pakistani woman's and education rights advocate Malala Yousafzai was favored to win, but Norway's public broadcaster NRK announced this morning that the award would go to The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.

The announcement will come at 5 a.m.
