Facebook will announce its Q4 2018 earnings after markets close on Wednesday.

The results will give investors and analysts a chance to see how Facebook's bruising final months of the year affected its business.

Like the rest of 2018, the fourth quarter was packed with scandals and upsets for the social network, from scrutiny over WhatsApp's spread of misinformation in Brazil to the seizure of damaging internal documents by the UK Parliament and allegations of racism from a former employee.

• Earnings per share (GAAP): $2.18
• Monthly Active Users: 2.32 billion
• Daily Active Users: 1.51 billion
