LIVE: BRITAIN IS ABOUT TO VOTE IN THE HISTORIC EU REFERENDUM

- Britons go to the polling stations to decide whether the UK will "Remain" or "Leave" the European Union.
- Polling starts at 7 a.m. BST and ends at 10 p.m. BST.
- The latest polls conducted before June 23 showed that the "Remain" vote is narrowly in the lead, after a two-week period of "Leave" surging ahead.
- However, one TNS poll conducted online between 16 - 22 June puts Remain at 41% (+1) Leave: 43% (-4).

By this time tomorrow, we will have the result of whether Britain votes to stay in the EU or not.

0614 - POLLS ARE PRE-JUNE 23 ARE TOO CLOSE TO CALL
Polls published the day before today show how close the race is.
A SurveyMonkey poll (June 22) had 50% of the 4,000 respondents opting for Remain, compared to 47% for Leave. Only 24 hours prior to that, another SurveyMonkey poll had Leave leading with a 1-point lead over Remain.
Late on Wednesday, TNS released the results of another poll:
