Apple earnings will be out shortly after 4 PM and we'll have the numbers as soon as we can.

Here are the big numbers everyone is looking for. Revenue/EPS are via Yahoo Finance, product unit numbers are from Gene Munster talking to buy-side analysts.

• Revenue: $36.82 billion
• EPS: $7.92
• iPhone: 31 million
• iPad: 14.5 million
• Mac: 4.6 million
• GM: 37%
• December quarter revenue: $55.53 billion

This is the most exciting Apple earnings report of the year, because it's happening right at the conclusion of a flurry of activity from Apple. Apple has rolled out new iPhones and new iPads in the past couple of weeks.

Analysts will be able to ask about Apple's product decisions, as well as its outlook, while all the new products are still fresh in our minds. Hopefully we get some insight into sales of the 5C, why it was priced the way it was priced, iPad Mini with Retina pricing, production, China, and the outlook for the iPad business in the future. Other stuff: TV, iWatch.

This is going to be a good one, and it could be the last time we hear from Apple management before the holiday season starts cranking up, so get excited!
