LIVE: Apple announces Q2 earnings
There's a lot to look for this quarter. Sentiment on Apple stock has turned negative in recent weeks after a slew of analysts have pointed to potentially soft demand for Apple's $999 flagship product, the iPhone X, especially in China.
Investors will also be looking for an update to Apple's capital return program, which is expected to balloon after Apple CFO Luca Maestri said it planned to run its $163 billion cash balance to zero. Some analysts believe Apple could spend as much as $100 billion on share buybacks and dividends.
As always, investors will be closely watching the number of iPhones sold and the average price they sold for. Most analysts say Apple will say it sold between 52 and 53 million iPhones, but Barclays analysts, for example, only expect Apple to sell 48 million iPhones.
Here are the key financial numbers that investors are looking for, according to Bloomberg data:
Revenue: $60.86 billion (Compared with Apple's own guidance of $60B-$62B)
EPS: $2.60 per share
iPhones sold: 51.9 million
