LIVE: Amazon earnings

Amazon is reporting its fourth quarter earnings Thursday after the bell.

Here are the most important numbers:

• EPS (GAAP): $1.35 per share average analyst estimate
• Revenue: $44.68 billion average analyst estimate

Expectations are high as Amazon previously said that it had a record holiday season. The company is estimated to have driven more than half of US online sales growth last year, too.

Investors are also keeping a close eye on Amazon's profit margin. The e-commerce giant gave a lower-than-expected fourth quarter guidance during its last earnings call as the company has ramped up investment in areas like fulfillment centers, international expansion, and TV show production.
