LG announces its first Made in India phones K7 and K10

LG today announced the launch of first made-in-India LG smartphones K7 and K10. LG’s first manufacturing plant will be set in Noida, said Amit Gujral, head of Marketing, LG Electronics India Pvt Ltd.“1 million smartphones will be manufactured fropm this plant,” said Ravi Shankar Prasad, Union Minister Communications and IT, Government of India.
K represents the kinetic energy in young enthusiastic India, said Amit. The phones will have a scratch proof, back cover, LG’s popular Gesture Shot and Gesture Interval Shot for hassle free selfie experience. The 5.3 inch K10 has 13 MP on the rear and 5MP on the front while 5 inch K7 has 5 MP rear and front both. K7 and K10 have 1.5 G and 2 GB RAM respectively. They support 4G LTE+VoLTE and VoWifi.
“I request LG to make the design in line with the Goverment’s Make in India initiative,” said Pankaj Mahindroo, founder and President , Indian Cellular Association.
K7 and K10 is priced at Rs. 9500 and Rs 13500 respectively.
