- LeBron James refuses to go silently in the NBA Finals.
- In the opening minutes of Game 3 with the Cavaliers working to build an early lead, LeBron threw the ball off the backboard to himself and threw down a dunk for the ages.
- While you can't erase a two-game deficit with one dunk, the play certainly can give Cavaliers fans faith that the series is not over yet.
With the Cleveland Cavaliers against the ropes in Game 3 of the NBA Finals, LeBron James made his presence known.
In the opening minutes of Wednesday night's Game 3 against the Golden State Warriors, James held the ball with the shot clock dwindling down and the Cavaliers building an early lead.
While it looked as if James might be forced to settle for a mid-range jumper, he instead chose to duck underneath his defender and take advantage of the wide open lane. Throwing the ball off the backboard, James grabbed his own pass in streetball fashion and slammed home the most monstrous dunk we've seen yet in the Finals.

There's still a long way to go until the Cavaliers are back to contending against the Warriors in the NBA Finals, but plays like this certainly give Cavaliers fans hope that the series is not over yet.
