Genghis Khan is largely known as an evil and bloodthirsty conqueror that is impossible to learn from. However, much of what we know of him is myth. He was meticulous, tolerant, unifying and renounced aristocratic privileges. He abolished torture and fought for women’s rights in his society.Genghis was the greatest conqueror and general who ever lived. He founded and ruled a kingdom of 12-million square miles that lasted for over seven centuries. He was extremely violent, but never without reason. Unlike the Spartans or Vikings, the Mongols found no honor in fighting; only winning. Like a true Mongol, Genghis believed in getting his job done, did whatever it took. Unlike many invaders and looters, his focus was on building peace.
