'Star Wars' fans are going to flip out when they see the latest footage for the upcoming 'Battlefront' game
The trailer starts off innocently enough with a bunch of rebel-piloted X-Wing fighters preparing for battle.
Then we get a quick peek at some dogfighting. The X-Wing looks great from the outside, but how about a cockpit view?
Next up, we get a look at the Imperial dogfighters. You'll spot TIE fighters in here, as well as TIE Interceptors. There's also a look inside an Interceptor, from the position of a gunner taking down a Rebel X-Wing.
The parade of iconic ships continues in the next scene with an A-Wing chasing down a TIE fighter. It appears as though you'll have your pick of recognizable rigs to pilot when the game launches this November.
But, really, none of these ships is worth a damn when held up against the most recognizable space fighter of them all: The Millennium Falcon. This is Han Solo's ship, notorious for smuggling illicit goods and Rebel leaders across the galaxy.
Here's a little bit more of the Millennium Falcon in action, including the cockpit view. We'd love it if you could hear Chewbacca yelling (barking? roaring?) in the background, but we'll take what we can get. Piloting the ship is pretty good unto itself.
If the fan service already delivered here wasn't quite enough – and we're not quite sure how that's even possible, but maybe you're really demanding – there's one final tease in the trailer that should get you excited: the appearance of Boba Fett's "Slave One" ship. Can you pilot it? We're putting our money on yes.
