People figured out how to make mind-blowing 3D GIFs that are awesome to watch
The split-depth gifs are separated into three panels. As an object moves towards the camera, it moves out of one frame and pops out towards the viewer.
The effect is achieved by manipulating the layers of an animated gif in Photoshop.
