Late Heroics Helped Keep The Chicago Blackhawks' Incredible Point Streak Alive
The Chicago Blackhawks beat the Detroit Red Wings to improve their record to an incredible 19-0-3 and extend their record streak to 22 straight games with at least one point to start the season.
After falling behind early in the third period, Viktor Stalberg stole the puck from behind in front of the Red Wings net, poked the puck over to Patrick Kane, who then found the back of the net with just 2:02 left in regulation. Chicago would go on to win in a shootout, their 22nd straight game in which they have not lost in regulation. Their only three blemishes so far are shootout losses.
