Major indices remained under profit booking in mid-afternoon trade on the National Stock Exchange as traders preferred to pocket gains in leading stocks after a 2-day advance. All major indices reported losses while bit gains were seen on the Realty, PSU and FMCG pack. Here is a snapshot of the cash market on the exchange.

Sensex fell 0.4% to 25,756 points
Nifty dropped 33 to 7,838 points

SECTORAL INDICES
Bank Nifty down 0.6% to 16,814 points
CNX Auto fell 1% to 7,810 points
CNX Finance slipped 0.6% to 6,872 points
CNX Metals dropped 1.7% to 1,784 points


CNX Realty gained 0.6% to 169 points
CNX FMCG rose 0.5% to 19,591 points
