Know how Snapdeal wooed online shoppers on Twitter

E-tailer Snapdeal has struck the right chord with the consumers once again. Wooing the shoppers with its latest offing, the online marketplace has launched ‘Dil ki Deal’ contest on Twitter on March 23, 2015.

Under this contest, an online shopper can participate by answering a simple question asked by the website related to the Dil ki deal contest. However, a contestant’s answer will be accepted only if he has tagged the website as well as use the hashtag #DilKiDealOnSnapdeal.

The website has been posting question at regular interval on Twitter, all of which are either related to the TV commercial or has an emotional quotient to it. According to the company, the theme of the contest was not just delivering a product but also fulfilling heart’s desires.

“Tell us 3 things you love the most about the video#DilKiDealOnSnapdeal,” tweeted Snapdeal.

Neo @TechieTurf replied, “@snapdeal #DilKiDealOnSnapdeal A3) concept of love and care.. along with deals to make people happy.. and of course @aamir_khan!”

Another Tweetrati too posted, “Perfectionist Aamir Khan and DEALicious @snapdeal Perfect for the #DilKiDealOnSnapdeal”.

The participants then stand a chance to win goodies on offer by the website. The buzz created by the quiz had made the hashtag trend on Twitter for quite a long time. The etailer has also tied up with Tamil Nadu Handicrafts Development in order to sell their products on the website.
