The first poster of Kapoor & Sons is here

Yesterday, we told you how Rishi Kapoor has donned the character of Dadu in Dharma Production’s upcoming movie Kapoor & Sons. Looks like the production team is all set to start the promotion of the movie, which is why, today, we were given the treat of the first poster of the movie.

Karan Johar, the producer of the movie, took to the social networking site Twitter to share the poster of the film, in which we see the whole Kapoor family.
While Dadu Rishi Kapoor sits in front of a glass of champagne and what could be his birthday cake, his on-screen son Rajat Kapoor and daughter-in-law Ratna Pathak Shah stand next to him, wearing eye masks for the birthday party.

Fawad Khan, who plays the elder Kapoor son, can be seen smiling with a bunch of balloons in his hand, and the younger one, Sidharth Malhotra, can be seen blowing a trumpet, while Alia Bhatt tries to cover her ears from the loud noise.

We also have to mention 1921, the year that features in the poster, subtly hinting at the year when the firm Kapoor & Sons would have started.

Directed by Shakun Batra, Kapoor & Sons releases on 18th March, while the trailer of the movie would come out on 10th February.
