- Rapper Kanye West announced two new albums on Twitter on Thursday.
- One will be a solo album with seven songs that drops June 1, the other a collaborative album with Kid Cudi called "Kids See Ghost" that drops on June 8.
- These will be his first albums since 2016's "The Life of Pablo."
After a hiatus, rapper Kanye West has been busy on Twitter this week dropping life lessons - but he'll be dropping his first albums in two years this June.
West took a break from tweeting about philosophy and fashion on Thursday to announce two new albums, one being a collaborative album with fellow rapper Kid Cudi.
The first will be a solo, seven-song album due June 1. The second, dropping a week later on June 8, will be a joint album with Kid Cudi. West said that album will be called "Kids See Ghost" - "the name of our group."
These will be the first albums from West since 2016's "The Life of Pablo." West had canceled the remainder of his Saint Pablo Tour that November and was hospitalized for exhaustion shortly after.
