Kanye West - rapper, husband of Kim Kardashian, fashion designer, expert Tweeter - wants to design merchandise for an unlikely destination: Ikea.

"I have to work with Ikea - make furniture for interior design, for architecture," West said to BBC.

Namely, he told BBC that he could imagine college students wanting him to design "a minimalist apartment inside of a college dorm."

He envisioned the following:

"'Yo Ikea, allow Kanye to create, allow him to make this thing because you know what, I want a bed that he makes, I want a chair that he makes.'"

Who wouldn't want to sit on a Kanye West chair while downing Swedish meatballs?

Though Ikea may not seem nearly as prestigious as his very expensive Yeezy line, West has been on the road to making his goods more available to the mass market, firstly by dropping the prices of his line, and more recently, with the expansion of his partnership with Adidas.

Essentially, Kanye West appears to want to dominate the retail sphere, and he very well may be suited to do so. Earlier this year, he tweeted some reasonable ideas about the retail and fashion industries.
