The NFL is cracking down on celebrations in a big way, as Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman learned on Sunday.

In a tight affair with the Cleveland Browns, the Browns took over on offense in their own territory, trailing by four in the fourth quarter.

Browns quarterback Cody Kessler tried to test Norman by targeting wide receiver Terrelle Pryor, and Norman anticipated the pass, coming up with a big interception to get the ball back to his team.

After the pick, Norman celebrated, pretending to shoot a bow and arrow. The referees didn't like it, penalizing him thereafter and saying, quite literally, he was being penalized for "shooting a bow and arrow." Here was the celebration:

Nothing particularly egregious, but apparently, the refs didn't like it.

Nonetheless, the pick was huge. The Redskins then scored a touchdown, giving them an 11-point lead.
