Jaguar Land Rover, the British multinational automotive company owned by Tata Motors, has unveiled a new model called Velar at a grand ceremony in London.
Gerry McGovern, the Chief Design Officer at JLR, thanked Tata Group chairman emeritus Ratan Tata for his passion and faith in the product.
"Design has the power to enrich people's lives... this is a vehicle with emotionally charged DNA and unquestionable pedigree," he said.
The Range Rover Velar is being described as one of the "hottest products this year", and is now open to orders from around the world, including India. It would start selling from later this year, in around 100 markets. For those who can’t wait to see it, it will be on display at the Design Museum in London until March 6.
