Jaitley To Hold Consultations Ahead Of His First Budget

Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is likely to start pre-budget consultations with various stakeholders from today in the run-up to his first Budget. The Budget will also be the first major policy document of the new government led by Narendra Modi.

Jaitley is likely to start by meeting the representatives of the farm and social sectors. He will also meet representatives from trade, industry, financial services and state finance ministers.
