It's a Bird. It's a Plane. It’s Yamaha’s 04GEN Scooter

Yamaha recently unveiled the 04Gen Scooter concept at the first ever Vietnam Motorcycle Show. The event is underway from April 7-10th in Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City.

It’s quite unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. Its moveable exterior panels with the semi-transparent trapezoidal details and long, low silhouette are shaped like that of a Swan.

The seat and the handlebar grips appear to be made of leather.

This is Yamaha’s fourth such concept model based on its ‘RUN’ philosophy. It stands for ‘Revolutionary, Unique, Noble’ and this ‘refined dynamism’ philosophy allows the company’s designers to work on experimental designs based on futuristic material.

It’s a striking concept surely, and its ‘wings’ give it the bird-like stance. It’s a piece of Art on wheels.

The only sore here is that there has been no word whether the concept will even make it to the market. Fingers crossed that it does.
