The results of the board exams for class 12 under the ICSE and ISE were announced on Tuesday. The overall pass percentage for ISC stands at 96.52%, 0.31% up from last year. While the pass percentage for ICSE (class 10th) is 98.54%.
ICSE exam has been conducted in 60 witten subjects of which 22 are Indian languages and 10 are foreign languages. For the ICSE in India, the western region has best pass percentage -- 99.76%, followed by southern region 99.73%; eastern -- 98.06%; Northern: 97.87%; abroad ICSE has achieved 100%.
The results for the two classes can be accessed on the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations board’s official website at cisce.org, and is expected around 3 pm.
In a recent press release, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations board announced that the results for both class 10th and class 12th will be accessible via sms as well.

In 2018, the Council of the Indian School Certificate Examination altered the criteria for passing percentage marks from 33% to 35% for ICSE (class 10th) and 40% from 35% for ISC(class 12th).
The pass percentage for ICSE last year was 98.51% A total of 80,880 ISC candidates stood for the ISC exam with the pass percentage at 96.21%.
However, the pass percentage of girls in class 12th was 97.63% while the pass percentage among boys stood at 94.96%. Moreover, the pass percentage of boys and girls for class 10th was also recorded as 98.95% and 98.15%, respectively.
