IPL 9: We bring you Delhi’s team and the Daredevilry they’re capable of with Rahul Dravid as their mentor

You win some and lose some and IPL-9 is all about that. Delhi Daredevils had a rocky start as it lost to Kolkata Knight Riders by 9 wickets. But as the old adage ‘slow and steady wins the race’ still holds golden in this day and age, it is too early to ignore them.

Rahul Dravid is mentoring Delhi and we think this time Delhi Daredevils will do much better than last season, in which it finished seventh with only 11 points. The team has three Under-19 players, who amazed everyone with their hard hitting skills. Pawan Negi, who was the costliest player of the auction, will also stay ahead in the race.

Delhi has newbies who are infused with energy and want to turn fortunes for the team. They are not here to entertain crowds but to show good performance, just like Dravid.

As the IPL history has never been so kind to Delhi, it doesn’t mean you can write them off. Let’s hope this time, they rule the cricket extravaganza.
