Barbara Corcoran reveals she mistook fellow 'Shark Tank' star Mark Cuban for a bellboy when they first met

"Shark Tank" co-stars Barbara Corcoran and Mark Cuban had a rather awkward first meeting while on set for the reality show.
The 73-year-old businesswoman has built a following on TikTok sharing anecdotes about her career in real estate and her 14 seasons on ABC's "Shark Tank." In her latest story, Corcoran shared her most embarrassing moment on the show, which involved mistaking billionaire co-star Cuban for the help when she first met him.
As she got ready for a TV appearance, Corcoran recalled rushing to the set of "Shark Tank" for what she said was her fourth season and being surprised by an unknown man sitting in the van she usually rode to the set alone in.
"I had three big pieces of luggage, so I decided to ask him, 'Hey do you mind helping me put my luggage in the back of the van,'" Corcoran said. To which she says Cuban replied, "'Yes ma'am.'"
When they arrived on set she pointed out her trailer and asked Cuban to take the luggage inside, and the businessman obliged. It wasn't until they were sitting in the iconic "Shark Tank" chairs that she realized the bellboy was none other than her new co-star.
"I look at the guy next to me, and it's the luggage guy sitting next to me," Corcoran said. "So I said to him, 'What are you doing here?'"
The "luggage guy" replied, "I'm Mark Cuban. Nice to meet you," she recalled in the video. Cuban joined the cast in season three while Corcoran has remained a Shark since the show's premiere in 2009.
Corcoran is the founder of real estate company Corcoran group, and has garnered interest from TikTokers with her tales – including how she made $1 million in a day selling "terrible apartments" in New York City.
