The demand for studying abroad among Indian students is rising, leading many to move to different countries. Here is a list of countries with the highest number of Indian students based on data from the Ministry of External Affairs, India, 2022.

Indian students choose the US as their top study destination for multiple reasons, including the presence of world-renowned universities, a diverse range of programs and a developed job market with better employment opportunities.
