Kim Potter, the Minnesota police officer who shot and killed Daunte Wright, has resigned from the force.
Brooklyn Center Mayor Mike Elliott announced that police chief Tim Gannon has also resigned.
It was revealed in a press conference that Potter apparently meant to shoot her Taser at the 20-year-old Wright, not her firearm.
