  • Former President Donald Trump has endorsed an Ohio man who once turned his backyard into a Trump ad.
  • J.R. Majewski is best known for turning his 19,000 square feet of yard space into Trump posters.

Former President Donald Trump has endorsed an Ohio congressional candidate known for turning his backyard into massive 19,000 square foot Trump posters.

On Sunday, Trump endorsed J.R. Majewski for Ohio's ninth congressional district, saying the latter would be a "fantastic Congressman" and emphasizing his "Complete and Total Endorsement" for him.

"In Congress, J.R. will always Promote American Energy, Secure the Border, Support our Farmers, Protect Life, Defend the Second Amendment, Fight for Election Integrity, and Provide our Veterans with the Care they Deserve," Trump wrote.

Majewski, who won his district's GOP primary on May 5, tweeted that he was "beyond honored" to have earned Trump's endorsement.

Majewski is known for the variety of Trump-related posters he has painted on his lawn.

In 2020, Majewski said he used 120 gallons of paint to create a 19,000 square foot banner that read "Trump 2020 — Keep America Great," splashed across the entirety of his lawn.

Last year, Majewski was also seen in a music video posing with a massive image of Trump's face painted on what appeared to be the same lawn.

Majewski also made headlines for altering the words "Trump 2020" on his lawn to read "Trump 2Q2Q" in apparent support for the QAnon conspiracy theory. The theory baselessly posits that Trump is fighting a satanic cabal of pedophiles linked to deep-state organizations.

According to CNN, Majewski also attended a January 6 rally during which he was filmed standing among a crowd chanting QAnon slogans.

Trump isn't the only GOP figure who has backed Majewski. Political operative Roger Stone, Rep. Paul Gosar, and retired Gen. Michael Flynn have also thrown their support behind him.
