What's going on today:

• Biz executives want more contract and freelance labor. Workers say that's not going to cut it. A new survey from McKinsey and Ipsos found that employees and employers at a crossroads. Immigrants and workers of color are especially likely to say they'd rather be permanent employees, despite executives wanting the opposite.
• Foiled by Facebook. A former GOP activist in Palm Beach County has been charged in connection with the Capitol riot after she posted about it on Facebook. During the early 2000s, Jody Tagaris played a prominent role in Palm Beach County's Republican circles, according to The Palm Beach Post.
• Wuhan lab info to be declassified. The Senate unanimously passed a bill to declassify intel on the origins of COVID-19, including the Wuhan lab. President Joe Biden also gave US intelligence 90 days to produce a report on the matter, days after reports that Wuhan lab workers fell ill in the fall of 2019
• Underwater in overdrafts. Sen. Elizabeth Warren grilled Jamie Dimon over Chase charging nearly $1.5 billion in overdraft fees during the pandemic. The four biggest banks - Chase, Citibank, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo - collected a combined $4 billion in overdraft fees from customers during the pandemic, against the recommendation of regulators.
• The Trump case takes shape. Fake property evaluations and pressuring officials to 'find' votes: All the evidence piling up in the criminal probes of Trump. In New York, prosecutors are looking into whether Trump broke tax laws. In Georgia, he may have illegally tried to influence election results.
• Lifestyles of the rich and vaxxed. Ohio reveals the first winners in its $1 million lottery for people who get vaccinated against COVID-19. Ohio picked two names for the first winners of its "Vax-a-Million lottery": One adult received $1 million and a student got a college scholarship.
• Thanks, I hate it. Visual artist and sculptor Sophie Stark creates creepy and nostalgic Furby sculptures that will make your skin crawl.
