What's going on today:
- Richmond tore down a statue of Robert E. Lee - and Trump had thoughts on it. Donald Trump issued a statement denouncing the removal of a statue of Gen. Robert E. Lee, the biggest Confederate statue in the US. "If only we had Robert E. Lee to command our troops in Afghanistan, that disaster would have ended in a complete and total victory many years ago," Trump wrote.
- North Korea is barred from the Beijing Olympics. The International Olympic Committee barred North Korea from the Olympics until the end 2022 because it failed to attend the Tokyo Games. If any North Korean athletes qualify for the games, the IOC said it would make a separate decision.
- Biden is getting ready to sue Texas: Last week, the Supreme Court allowed a Texas law to take effect that bans abortions after roughly six weeks of pregnancy. Now, according to a Wall Street Journal report, Biden's administration is getting ready to sue Texas over it. The lawsuit could come as soon as Thursday.
- Jennifer Lawrence is pregnant. A rep for the "Hunger Games" actor confirmed the news to People. It's her first child with her art-collector husband, Cooke Maroney.
