What's going on today:

• A Bitcoin bust. Bitcoin slides below $30,000 as fears mount over surging COVID-19 cases - and now trades 55% below its record high. The broad sell-off fueled a $98 billion decline in the entire cryptocurrency market's value, according to data from CoinMarketCap.
• Sean Hannity: "I believe in the science of vaccination." Hannity and other Fox News hosts recant disinformation campaigns on COVID-19 vaccine. Fox implemented its own internal passport; many hosts who have been railing against the vaccine are hypocrites who have been fully vaccinated.
• Vaccine passport passed. A federal judge gave Indiana University the green light to move forward with its COVID-19 vaccination requirement, potentially setting the tone for other colleges and universities in the US. "The students aren't being forced to take the vaccination against their will; they can go to college elsewhere...," Judge Damon Leichty said.
• GOP members of the January 6 committee named. McCarthy names GOP members to the select committee investigating the January 6 insurrection - 3 voted against certifying Biden's win in Pennsylvania and Arizona. Rep. Jim Banks will serve as the ranking member and will be joined by Reps. Jim Jordan, Rodney Davis, Kelly Armstrong, and freshman Troy Nehls.
• MTG served with Twitter suspension. Marjorie Taylor Greene suspended from Twitter after untrue COVID claims. Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said falsely that COVID-19 is "not dangerous" for under-65s or non-obese people, prompting Twitter to ax her ability to post
