- Lady Gaga says the producer that raped her dropped her off 'pregnant on a corner' after locking her in a studio for months. Gaga said the incident happened when she was 19, but that she felt physical and emotional trauma from it for years after. "It was almost like I tried to erase it from my brain. And when it finally came out, it was like a big, ugly monster. And you have to face the monster to heal," she told Vogue in 2019.
- The April raid of Rudy Giuliani's home and offices netted investigators 18 electronic devices. Federal investigators The devices were seized as part of a criminal probe into Giuliani's dealings in Ukraine.
- Jennifer Weisselberg is pretty sure her former father-in-law, Trump Org. CFO Allen Weisselberg, will flip on Trump in New York's criminal investigations. Weisselberg told CNN she is cooperating with prosecutors because "it's so horrifying that Donald Trump could be president again, knowing what I know."
- California Rep. Kevin McCarthy flip-flopped on launching a study of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. "The president's immediate action also deserves congressional action, which is why I think a fact-finding commission and a censure resolution would be prudent," McCarthy said in January, in the days following the insurrection. This week, he was among 35 Republicans who voted not to establish a commission.
- Photos capture joy in Gaza's streets as Israel-Hamas truce begins after 11 days of violence. Hamas told The New York Times "the Palestinian resistance will abide by this agreement as long as the occupation abides by it."
