What's going on today:

- That's certainly one way to make money: A group of fishermen netted a $1.5 million whale vomit windfall after dredging up a hunk of the stuff. Ambergris is also known as "floating gold," and is produced in a sperm whale's digestive system. It is used in fine perfumes to make scents last longer.
- Reporting on the reporters: Trump DOJ secretly pulled phone records for 4 New York Times reporters during an investigation into a leak. The
news follows recent disclosures that Washington Post reporters and CNN's Barbara Starr also had their records seized. - Well, this is embarrassing: 2 Tiktokers who traveled to Hawaii spent close to $1,000 to fly to LA and back again - all because they got the wrong type of COVID test. Sarah Blackwood and Abbey Campbell both had negative COVID-19 tests but traveled back to California after their tests weren't from approved companies.
That's all for now. See you tomorrow.
