- AOC says some GOP lawmakers were "in on" the Capitol riot. Alexandria Ocasio-Corte argued some members of Congress shouldn't be allowed to sit on the investigative committee looking into the Jan. 6 insurrection. "There are indications that some of these folks were in on it, & we can't have them be a part of the investigation," AOC tweeted.
- "In a state of disbelief." Former NXIVM sex slave India Oxenberg reacts to top cult official Allison Mack being sentenced to 3 years in prison. In the docuseries "Seduced," Oxenberg said Mack put her on a 500-calorie diet, collected nudes to use as blackmail, and arranged branding ceremonies for female members.
- Dodgers superstar faces shocking allegations. A restraining order alleges Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer punched and strangled a woman unconscious during sex. Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer was accused of assault and nonconsensual anal penetration in a disturbing restraining order request obtained by Insider.
- A whole town set ablaze. An entire Canadian town is up in flames after temperatures soared to a record-breaking 121 degrees Fahrenheit. On Tuesday, Lytton broke the record for the all-time highest temperatures in Canada for the third straight day.
- Almost "perfecto" but no bueno. Trump made a trip to the US/Mexico border and falsely claimed his southern border wall had been just 2 months shy from "perfecto." The former president said the wall was just "rotting and rusting" and in need of a new coat of paint. "Let it rot, let it rust," he added.
- A scary sight. Watch the moment a truck carrying thousands of pounds of illegal fireworks exploded in LA, injuring 16. The bomb squad was loading the fireworks onto a trailer parked on a residential street when the explosion occurred.
