- Megan Thee Stallion's home was robbed of thousands of dollars of personal items, TMZ reported.
- The rapper was not present for the break-in, which occurred Thursday.
Megan Thee Stallion told fans on Friday she's "glad everyone is safe" after thieves stole between $300,000 and $400,000 from her Los Angeles home.
Megan Thee Stallion, whose real name is Megan Pete, was not home when two men smashed into a glass door at the back of Pete's home and made their way to her primary bedroom and stole cash, jewelry, and electronic items, according to TMZ, citing anonymous law enforcement sources.
On Friday, Pete tweeted "Wow" and "Material things can be replaced..." The tweets appeared to be in response to the TMZ report.
Pete also made an announcement that she would be taking a break following her appearance on "Saturday Night Live," which the artist is preparing to host this week.
"Hotties im really sorry but after SNL I really gotta take a break I'm so tired, physically and emotionally," Pete wrote.

No arrests had been made as of Friday, TMZ reported.
Pete's robbery adds her to the list of music artists who have been targeted by robbers. In September, rapper PnB Rock was shot and killed at a Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles after assailants demanded he hand over his jewelry. And in June, singer Mariah Carey's home was targeted and broken into by thieves.
LAPD could not confirm the break-in to Insider. A representative for Pete did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment.
