These are the winning Powerball numbers for the record-breaking $2 billion lottery jackpot
  • Powerball officials announced numbers for the largest-ever jackpot on Tuesday.
  • The pot reached a record-breaking $2.04 billion after more than three months without a winner.

The record-breaking Powerball jackpot reached $2.04 billion this week after more than three months without a big winner.

The ever-increasing jackpot surpassed the previous 2016 record-holder last week after a Saturday drawing once again failed to produce any champion. The jackpot hasn't been claimed since August 3, when a Pennsylvanian won a $206.9 million pot.

Lottery officials drew six new numbers and announced them Tuesday. The hours-long delay was because one of the 48 participating states had trouble processing sales data, officials told the Associated Press. They did not say which state.

The winning numbers are 10, 33, 41, 47, 56, and Powerball 10.

According to the California Lottery, the jackpot rose from an estimated $1.9 billion to $2.04 billion "at the time of the drawing" Tuesday morning.

While the chances of picking all six winning numbers are beyond slim — just 1 in 292 million — the record jackpot was hit shortly after numbers were drawn. California Lottery announced that that state had one Powerball winner and three tickets that matched five numbers "missing just the Powerball in Gardena, Beaumont, and San Francisco."

The jackpot ticket was sold at Joe's Service Center, a gas station in Altadena, CA, which is northeast of Los Angeles.

"California Lottery makes its FIRST EVER Billionaire!" California Lottery tweeted.
