The Queen's doctors are 'concerned' for the 96-year-old monarch's health, palace says

Queen Elizabeth II's doctors are concerned for Her Majesty's health, a Buckingham Palace spokesperson has said in a statement.
"Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen's doctors are concerned for Her Majesty's health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision," the spokesperson said in the statement sent to Insider.
"The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral," they added.
The palace didn't give further information regarding Her Majesty's condition. However, royal author Omid Scobie wrote on Twitter that immediate family members have been informed. Meanwhile, royal correspondent Roya Nikkhah shared a statement from Clarence House on Twitter, stating that Prince Charles and Camilla have traveled to the Queen's Balmoral estate in Scotland, where she is being supervised by doctors.
Prince William is currently traveling to Balmoral, according to ITV's royal editor Chris Ship, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are also on their way there, journalist Victoria Murphy wrote on Twitter.
Balmoral is the Queen's private residence which the royal family regularly use as a summer home. Earlier this week, the monarch received Britain's new Prime Minister Liz Truss from Balmoral, The Guardian reported.
The mood in the UK's House of Commons, where MPs had been debating Truss' plans to deal with the spiraling energy crisis, palpably darkened as ministers passed notes to each other. Opposition leader Keir Starmer briefly left the chamber, followed later by Truss, before Commons Speaker Lindsay Hoyle made a statement.
"I speak on behalf of whole House and send best wishes. She and the Royal Family are in our prayers. If there is more we will update the House accordingly," Hoyle said.
"The whole country will be deeply concerned by the news from Buckingham Palace this lunchtime," Truss said in a statement obtained by Insider. "My thoughts — and the thoughts of people across our United Kingdom - are with Her Majesty The Queen and her family at this time."
Meanwhile, Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon shared in a statement: "All of us are feeling profoundly concerned at reports of Her Majesty's health. My thoughts and wishes are with the Queen and all of the Royal Family at this time."
The 96-year-old has experienced a number of health issues this year. In May, she missed the State Opening of Parliament due to "episodic mobility problems," according to the BBC. She was also photographed using walking sticks on several different occasions.
