Minneapolis' mayor declared a state of emergency amid unrest over the fatal police shooting of Daunte Wright
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey declared a state of emergency in the city on Monday after the fatal police shooting of Daunte Wright.
Wright was killed by a Brooklyn Center police officer during a traffic stop in the Minnesota suburb on Sunday.
Frey instituted a curfew in the aftermath of the shooting as protests grow. The curfew will be in place from 7:00 pm to 6:00 am local time on Monday.
