Kanye West, also known as Ye, was escorted out of a Skechers office in Los Angeles after visiting "unannounced and without invitation," the company told Insider in a statement on Wednesday.
"Skechers is not considering and has no intention of working with West," the company said. "We condemn his recent divisive remarks and do not tolerate antisemitism or any other form of hate speech. The Company would like to again stress that West showed up unannounced and uninvited to Skechers corporate offices."
The rapper has been under increased scrutiny after making antisemitic remarks earlier this month — causing his net worth to plummet and companies to distance themselves from him.
While Skechers does not sell Yeezy products, several other retailers that do have cut ties with him over the past week.
On Tuesday, Adidas announced that it would be ending its partnership with West. For the past decade, the company has manufactured products for West's fashion line, Yeezy.
A spokesperson for Adidas said previously that its partnership with Yeezy "is one of the most successful collaborations in our industry's history."
In its statement, Adidas noted that it would lose approximately $246 million in revenue this year as a result of ending the deal.
Later on Tuesday, other retailers who sold Yeezy products through partnerships with West began cutting ties with him. The clothing retailer Gap and sneaker retailer Foot Locker sent statements to Insider that they were making immediate moves to pull Yeezy products from their stores.
The clothing resale marketplace, The RealReal, also told Insider that it would not accept new listings of Yeezy products.
Ye's publicist did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment.
