House Republican Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Dan Crenshaw have been embroiled in yet another tiff — this time over whether the FBI should be defunded.

Last week, Greene was among several Republican lawmakers who called for the agency to be destroyed and defunded. This was after the FBI executed a search warrant at former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.

In response to the search — which has since been revealed to be part of a probe into whether Trump mishandled classified documents — Greene called for the agency's funding to be pulled.

She was one of the first lawmakers to tweet her disapproval of the search, posting on Twitter: "DEFUND THE FBI!" Greene has since hawked merchandise bearing the slogan, including "Defund the FBI" hats.

Greene's position also does appear to be shared by a vocal segment of GOP lawmakers. After the FBI searched Mar-a-Lago, at least a dozen GOP lawmakers leaped to Trump's defense and slammed the FBI.

Crenshaw, however, expressed his disapproval of Greene's actions in an interview with Axios.

"I'm impressed Democrats finally got us to say, 'Defund the FBI,'" the Texas lawmaker told the outlet. "That makes you look unserious, when you start talking like that."

Greene quickly hit back at Crenshaw, similarly hurling the word "unserious" at her GOP colleague.

"You know what makes you look unserious to Republican voters?" Greene tweeted, along with a screenshot of Crenshaw's comments to Axios. "Republican politicians who never actually take the bold actions to stop the Democrat's relentless destruction of America, and even worse those same Republicans who join the America Last Uniparty."

This is not the first time Greene has criticized Crenshaw, despite being from the same party. In January, Greene claimed without substantiation that Crenshaw spent his time "attacking America First Republicans because he (not so secretly) hates Trump."

"Unfortunately, Dan doesn't always walk in the chamber to vote to stop Democrat bills, even when he's in town," Greene posted on her official Telegram channel.

That same month, Greene also accused Crenshaw of "hurting" the Republican brand, saying the Texas congressman "needs to stop calling himself conservative."

For his part, Crenshaw has lashed out at the Freedom Caucus — which Greene is a part of — calling its members "grifters" and "performance artists." Crenshaw has also stood firm on his view that the 2020 election was not stolen from Trump, despite the former president's baseless claims of voter fraud.

Representatives for Greene and Crenshaw did not immediately respond to requests for comment from Insider.
