President Joe Biden has tested negative for COVID-19 after testing positive last week. The president has completed five days of PAXLOVID treatments, according to the White House.

The president tweeted a photo of his negative test with the caption, "Back to the Oval. Thanks to Doc for the good care, and to all of you for your support."

Throughout his isolation, president worked 8-hour days, conducting business as usual virtually, according to Press Secretary Karine Jean-Piere.

White House doctor Kevin O'Connor said that Biden likely contracted the Omicron BA.5 COVID variant. The president's physician released several statements during Biden's isolation updating the public on his health with the help of Jean-Piere and the White House's top COVID-19 advisor, Dr. Ashish Jha.

After spending six days in isolation, Biden will deliver remarks to the American people from the Rose Garden at 11:30am.
