But it’s not for sale. In fact, the maker of this toilet, Coronet, are trying to set a Guinness World Record for “most diamonds in a toilet seat”
Coronet is one of the brands of Hong Kong jewellery maker Aaron Shum. It wants this creation to be showcased in a diamond art museum ‘so that more people can enjoy it’.
If the gold toilet qualifies, it will be the 10th Guiness record for the jeweler. They hold titles for most diamonds set in a watch and most diamonds set in a handbag. They also created diamond-studded pink shoes worth a $4.28 million; along with a diamond studded guitar worth $2 million.
Gold toilets are actually a thing now

This isn’t the first toilet made of gold. Earlier this year, a solid gold toilet named “America” worth $6 million was stolen from Britain’s Blenheim Palace. It was the same toilet that was offered to US President Donald Trump for his personal use in the White House.
In 2001, a Hong Kong businessman spent HK$ 38 million to build a luxurious posh room which had gilt wall tiles and a solid gold toilet.
