The al-Bahaa' clothing factory in Gaza produces 100,000 masks per day — and they all go to Israel.
Like countless other businesses, the factory was forced to stop production at the end of January when business slowed due to the coronavirus.
But just a couple months later, an Israeli fashion retailer commissioned the factory to start producing masks and sent them fabric to begin production.
The owner, Rizq al-Madhoon, was able to rehire each one of his 200 employees — and now, they're all working overtime to keep up with demand.
But many still worry about the rest of Gaza.
