As states start to ease some stay-at-home restrictions, Americans are thinking about what that means for returning to the workplace. A new poll from Brunswick Group found Americans are most concerned about getting sick, infecting a family member, or another round of office closures.

Advisory firm Brunswick Group is surveying 1,000 adult American workers weekly about their attitudes toward and their employers' responses to the novel coronavirus outbreak. For the eighth week of their polling, one of their survey questions included what workers are concerned about when returning to work and the extent of their concern.

The results show that American workers have three main concerns when returning to work: Around 4 out of 5 respondents are either somewhat or very concerned about another wave of business and office closures, infecting a family member, or getting sick themselves.

At least 40% of respondents were somewhat or very concerned about each of the eight issues on the Brunswick Group's poll. Around half the respondents were at least somewhat concerned about commuting, as well as transitioning away from remote work, as many Americans are still working from home amid the outbreak.

The following chart highlights what American workers are somewhat or very concerned about when considering being able to return to their workplace again:
