Amid the pandemic, stars have been using their platforms to spread awareness, whether it's by sharing videos of themselves washing their hands or advising fans to stay home and practice social distancing. Other celebrities are donating money to various organizations.

Andrew Cuomo, the governor of New York, also thanked the singer for donating safety equipment to the state.

In addition, Rihanna's foundation will be teaming up with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to co-found a $4.2 million grant to help victims of domestic violence in LA as people are told to stay at home amid the pandemic.

With the rapper's donation, the organization will be able to continue delivering meals to elderly people who are unable to leave their homes.

After-School All-Stars, a non-profit organization, was founded by the actor with the goal of offering after-school activities for children.

"TikTok came along and said, 'We are the ones that are going to donate the millions of dollars that it takes to feed those families,'" he added.

As part of the collaboration, the program will deliver groceries and gift cards for groceries to families in the US who are in need.

The "Terminator" star also donated $1 million to a GoFundMe fundraiser called Frontline Responders Fund.
