There have been very few times in my life when my home has been petless. I've had dogs, cats, a duck, fish, turtles, and bunnies, usually in multiples at a time. My current companion is a 12-pound chihuahua/dachshund mix named Gracie. Since she is a rescue, I don't really know her background.
