INSIDE" is a 2-D game where you move from left to right, but this ain't no "Super Mario Bros.
It's beautifully animated and dramatic, like an oil painting.
And it's incredibly eerie.
You play as a young boy, but "INSIDE" tells you very little about who or where he is.
He is extremely vulnerable — he dies with just one hit from an enemy and he can't fight back.
Instead of fighting enemies like you typically would in a game, you have to use your environment to solve problems and overcome obstacles.
The story unfolds slowly over the course of the game, showing you bits and pieces about the world, letting you put everything together yourself.
You'll wander through massive industrial-like structures, occasionally encountering people who move in unison as if they're in a trance.
And you'll have to hide from giant robots that can kill you instantly if you step into their spotlight.
Learning what's truly going on in "INSIDE" is a horrifying experience, but I won't spoil anything for you! You'll have to play it yourself.
"INSIDE" is a game unlike any other. Don't miss it.
"INSIDE" is available on Xbox One and PC, and will be available to download on PlayStation 4 on August 23.
