Inside London's most expensive office - with gold plated bathrooms
The wealthiest people in London are willing to part with millions of pounds for a simple flat in the right location. Now, just like plush houses in Britain's capital, affluent business people are looking to upgrade their places of work to reach the level of luxury they're used domestically.
"Offices should be as good as homes," said Simon Lyons, Joint Chief Executive of Enstar Capital.
"Local business people think nothing of spending £5 million ($7.7 million) to £100 million on a Mayfair home, spending hundreds of pounds per square feet fitting it out, yet will work nearby in offices which are nowhere near the standard of luxury or quality. People spend a third of their lives at work, so this is why we have fitted these premises out to a luxury-resi finish."
