[Infographic] There Are More Mobile Phones On Earth Than Human Beings

We knew this was going to happen, but not this early. This infographic released by Blogmost suggests there are more mobile devices on planet earth than human beings. Clearly, some people out there use more than one mobile phone. As plenty of people don’t even use one, these multi-device addicts are making up for them or for those who own just one.

The infographic also gives a clear picture of what people do when using their cell phones. While 61% watch TV when they are using their phones, 8% are watching movies. Hopefully, they are not doing this in a movie theatre unless they want free popcorn (on their heads).

One specific info byte that caught our attention is where people keep their phones when they sleep. 1% keep their mobile devices in the car. In the car… you must be asking incredulously. Maybe they want to know where their car was all through the night and place their cell phones in it to track its whereabouts when they get up. Coming to think of it, it’s not a bad Idea for parents with teenage kids. Just put a tracker app in the smartphone and leave it in your car. Children take it out for a spin in the night, parents get to know in the morning and the child gets BUSTED!
