Around 2.6 lakh students went abroad in the year 2020, a drop of 55% as compared to 5.9 lakh students in 2019, due to COVID-19 pandemic overshadowing the entire world, according to data from Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

More than 71,000 students have gone abroad to pursue their higher studies in the first two months of 2021 itself, reveals the data from MEA.

Tuition fees is one of the first factors every student considers while choosing their suitable and most appropriate university to pursue further studies. While fees of various universities in the world are pretty high, some universities still offer free education to their local as well as international students.
