The Indian automobile sector is set to witness a range of new car launches across segments, as June sales filled automakers with hope. Most of the carmakers reported better-than-expected improvement in June sales volume compared to a month earlier, although still lower than pre-COVID levels.

Post the ease of the lockdown more than 80% of dealerships have opened across India, according to the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations of India.
